Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Pay Rate: £89 – £100 per day (PAYE)

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning and development in a vibrant school setting.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Assist with classroom management and the preparation of learning materials.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working in a primary school or educational setting (preferred but not essential).
• Is patient, nurturing, and passionate about working with children.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is adaptable and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Holds a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
