Ortus Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Assistant ideally experienced in working with young children in Key Stage One and early Key Stage Two classrooms. Our partnered mainstream primary school is a two-form entry school with a ‘’Good’’ Ofsted rating, looking for someone who can offer classroom support, work with flexibly and well within a team.

This role will be a Full-Time position, which requires an individual who will commit to working from Monday – Friday, from 08:30am – 4pm, till the end of the academic year.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to undergo a full Enhanced DBS check
