Ortus Recruitment are working with ana amazing mainstream primary school and they are seeking a enthusiastic, primary school teaching assistant who will commit to a full time – long term making a positive change in primary education.

The role :

• Position : Primary Teaching Assistant
• Location : East Sheen
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• 8:30am-4:00pm
• £80-£90 PAYE

Within this role you will be working with students within the classroom supporting them with their numeracy, literacy skills and ensuring they stay on task. You will also be working closely with the class teacher helping them plan, prepare and deliver the lessons, whilst managing the class behaviour. Another responsibility will be to provide emotional support for the children throughout the course of the school day.

The ideal candidate will have :

• Graduate with a good degree from a reputable University.
• Strong academic background.
• Experience around children.
• Comfortable and confident supporting SEN.
• Proactive, reliable and flexible.
