Ortus Recruitment are currently working with a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Croydon, who are seeking for experienced and passionate staff to join their team immediately. The primary school has an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report; now they are seeking for a classroom assistant to support pupil with SEN long-term.

If you’re available on a full-time basis (Monday-Friday during term time) and interested in working in one of our schools, please read on.

The ideal candidate will:

• Degrees in Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education, Drama and Performing Arts are ideal, but we welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children
• Have experience working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work | Mentoring | Tutoring | Childcare | Voluntarily
• Be friendly, confident, outgoing, reliable and be a positive role model
• A genuine interest and passion for supporting young vulnerable pupil
• Be available full-time (Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm)
