Early Years Teaching Assistant – CACHE Level 3 – Part Time
UB3 (Hayes Area) | April 2026 Start | £90–£100 per day

A welcoming primary school located in the UB3 Hayes area is seeking a qualified CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Nursery Nurse to support their Early Years provision. This role is a part-time maternity cover position beginning 13 April 2026 and continuing until the end of the Summer Term, with the possibility of extension into September.

This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic Early Years practitioner who enjoys creating a supportive and engaging environment where young children can learn through play and structured activities.

Role Overview

You will be working closely with the Early Years teaching team to support nursery-aged children in their daily learning and development. The school prides itself on maintaining a caring and stimulating setting where children feel confident to explore and grow.

Working Pattern

• Days: Monday – Wednesday
• Hours: 8:15am – 4:00pm
• Break: 45-minute lunch break

Daily Rate

• £90 – £100 per day
• Pay dependent on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting the class teacher with Early Years learning activities
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development
• Encouraging play-based learning and exploration
• Helping maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
• Supporting daily nursery routines and classroom organisation
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team

Essential Requirements

• CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Childcare qualification (required)
• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Ability to provide two professional references
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude when working with young children
