Ortus Recruitment is working in partnership with a fantastic 2-form entry Primary School in Wandsworth to appoint a committed SEN Teaching Assistants to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage with Autism. These full-time roles will begin immediately after the October half term and run through to the end of the academic year, with the potential for further opportunities beyond that.

• Role: SEN Teaching Assistant – EYFS (Autism Support)
• Start: Immediate (After October Half Term)
• Location: Wandsworth, London
• Contract: Long-term (Full Academic Year)
• Working Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only
• Pay: £89 – £105 per day (PAYE/No Umbrella Companies/No Hidden Deductions)

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism
• Experience working with children (in school, nursery, or youth settings)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A relevant qualification: Level 3 in Education/Childcare or a degree
• A patient, caring and proactive approach
• Willingness to support with personal care if required
• Ability to work effectively as part of a wider SEN team and liaise with specialists, staff, and families
• Commitment to the full academic year
