Here at Ortus Recruitment we are seeking an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic thriving Primary/Nursery Schools. The school is mainly a Primary Setting, but they have a nursery school building on site

Job Information:

· £85 – £100 per day, PAYE – No hidden agency/umbrella company fees

· Full time, Long term – Ongoing for the academic year

This school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for EYFS learners. They are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate EYFS Teaching Assistant who can hit the ground running in a positive working environment.

Must have:

· An enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment

· Two obtainable childcare relevant references

· A minimum grade C in GCSE English and Math

Within this role, you will assist the class teacher in the planning, organisation and implementation for a wide range of engaging subjects on the curriculum. You will provide one to one support and be able to offer a nurturing and safe environment for children.

Requirements:

· Experience working with EYFS learners

· A passion for working with young children and an understanding of their developmental needs

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills

· A ‘Can do’ attitude

· An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
