A mainstream primary school, in the Merton borough, are looking for a enthusiastic, highly educated EYFS Teaching assistant ready to commit to a full time- long term role. This primary school is well regarded in the local community and it is in a amazing location with easy access to public transport and a 10 min walk from food shops. The role :

• Position : EYFS Teaching Assistant
• Location : Merton
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• 8:30am-4:00pm (hour lunch break)
• £80-£90 per day

Within this role you will be responsible for working 1:1 and in small groups with children who struggle to maintain calm behaviour in the classroom. You will be required to support them with their work and help to encourage a positive attitude to learning. You will be required to support 2 students, one in EYFS and one in Reception. Your day will be split into 2, in the morning you will be working with the EYFS learner and in the afternoon you will be supporting the Reception learner.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need :

• Strong academic background
• Must be able to commit to full time, long term
• Must be able to reliable commute to the Primary School
• Must have a clear Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment
