Ortus Recruitment are working with a fantastic mainstream primary school in Wimbledon and they are looking for a EYFS Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time – long term role. Your main job role will be working in the autism base called Treetops supporting children with autism inside and outside the classroom.

The role:

• Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant
• Location: Wimbledon
• Full time-long term
• September start
• Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Working 1:1 with students, breaking down tasks and helping them with reading and writing
• Helping them with personal care
• Providing emotional support
• Meeting their emotional, social and physical needs
• Supporting the class teacher in managing the class behaviour
