Ortus Recruitment are currently seeking a qualified individual to work in an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Primary school in Croydon as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

The Graduate Teaching Assistant role is full time and will be starting immediately.

The role will consist of working alongside a teacher, planning and organising lessons as well as getting involved in class activities supporting children’s learning and development.

You will be working in groups, supporting children who have additional needs and may need help with their work.

The role

· Graduate Teaching Assistant

· Mainstream primary school

· Full time | Long term

· Located in Croydon, London

· Starting immediately

· £75 – £90 Per day (PAYE – No umbrella company fees)

We are looking for

· A recent graduate with a 2.2 or higher.

· An individual with a strong academic background who can keep up with school curriculum.

· Someone who comes across warm and welcoming and can communicate with teachers and children clearly and effectively.

· Someone who is reliable and patient.

· Great work ethic.

· Some previous experience working with children.

Requirements

· Right to work in the UK

· Able to work full time

· 2 most recent references

· Enhanced child workforce DBS on update service or be willing to process a new one
