Ortus Recruitment are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our partnered mainstream primary school based in the vibrant and diverse London Borough of Lambeth. The school is located in a lively and well-connected area, with easy access to a range of amenities and public transportation. We are proud to announce that our partnered school been rated ‘Good’ in their most recent Ofsted report, reflecting the commitment they have to providing a high-quality education for their pupils.

The successful candidate will have 1:1 experience working with children and relevant qualifications, such as those in childcare or a related field.

Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons and the supervision of students
• Provide individualized support to students as needed
• Support the planning and preparation of materials for lessons
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Experience working with children in a 1:1 setting
• Relevant qualifications, such as those in childcare or a related field
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
