The Opportunity

Join us as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2024. You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, during term time. We have positions available in primary, pupil referral units and SEN schools across the Lambeth Borough. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Teaching Support: Assist in small groups and with individual pupils.
• Promote Positive Behaviour: Encourage good values, attitudes, and behaviour.
• Inclusive Participation: Actively include all students in school activities.
• Monitor Progress: Support teachers in tracking student progress.
• Plan and Learn: Assist in planning and executing learning activities.
• Model Positive Behaviour: Support students’ educational and social development with high expectations.
• Reinforce Inclusion: Promote the acceptance and integration of all pupils.

What You Need

• Passion and Enthusiasm: A desire to shape the next generation.
• Bachelor’s Degree: A 2:2 or above.
• High Expectations: Commitment to excellent teaching and learning.
• Relational Skills: Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
