We’re working closely with a vibrant and welcoming mainstream primary school in Elephant & Castle that is looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is creative, caring, and committed—someone who’s ready to make a real difference in the lives of pupils who need extra support. The role is ideal for a graduate with a genuine interest in education, especially those considering a future in teaching or child development.

About the Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll be supporting pupils with additional needs—including those with SEMH, EAL, and other vulnerabilities—helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Your responsibilities may include:

• 1:1 and small group support
• Assisting pupils with personal care, such as toilet training and nappy changing for children in EYFS
• Building meaningful relationships that help students feel safe and supported
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff to create inclusive and engaging learning environments

Who We’re Looking For:

• A graduate (any discipline) with a passion for working with children
• Experience working with children or young people (school-based or other relevant settings)
• Someone patient, compassionate, and adaptable
• Comfortable supporting pupils with a range of needs
• Available full-time: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Able to provide two references and have (or be willing to obtain) a DBS on the Update Service
