We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join a primary school situated in Iver as a Year 5 teaching assistant for a September start (possible start before half term).

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the classroom teacher and working with a diverse group of students in a Year 5 classroom. You would be expected to lead small groups and also help children on a 1:1 basis to improve their English and Maths skills.

There is on-site parking availble.

Year 5 Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons
• Help improve the attainment levels of the class as a whole
• Potentially support one-on-one with students on their learning and development
• Create and implement individualized education plans
• Assist with classroom management and behavior support

Graduate Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (English GCSE A-C is a must)
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred (3-6 months)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Passion for working with students with diverse needs
• Ability to work well in a team environment
