Graduate Teaching Assistant Position Available in Croydon

This full-time role begins in September and offers an excellent chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.

About the Role:

• Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Location: Primary school in Croydon, South London

• Start Date: September 2024

• Hours: 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

• Duration: Full academic year (39 working weeks)

• Daily Rate: £85 – £100 per day (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in managing and delivering lessons.

• Work with small groups of students to provide targeted support.

• Support children with their work, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

• Contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

• Up-to-date CV.

• Referees.

• A DBS on the update service (We can assist you in obtaining a DBS if needed).

The headteacher is looking to trial an academic graduate who is enthusiastic about working with children and eager to gain experience in both SEN support and whole class teaching.
