Graduate Teaching Assistant:

• Hold a level 3 teaching qualification or be degree educated
• Previous experience in a primary school with excellent knowledge of the curriculum (desirable)
• Prior experience working with children
• SEN experience (desirable)
• Friendly, empathetic and motivating
• Attentive to needs of pupils
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills

The role:

• Supporting the Teacher in planning and delivery of lessons
• Supporting students with low attainment levels
• Leading group interventions or 1:1 sessions with pupils who have SEN
• Supervising lunchtime and extracurricular activities

Graduate Teaching Assistant must:

• Proof of right to work in the UK
• 2 references
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service/ be willing to apply for one
