We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistant who can deliver interventions in Math’s and English. You will join a three form entry primary school which is located in Uxbridge, London Borough of Hillingdon.

This role is 5 days a week and will be fulltime and long-term. The candidate will potentially have the opportunity to become a permanent employee directly with the school if they perform exceptionally well.

The school has reliable transport links to the rest of the city, and is well resourced with excellent purpose built facilities. The senior leadership team is extremely supportive and will encourage on going training and development.

Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants will:

• Provide specialist support raise the literacy and numeracy levels
• Work one-to-one and in small groups with children
• Liaise with Parents, SEN Teachers and other SEN Specialists. (desirable)
• Work across the school providing support in Year 5 and 6
• Mentor and nurture pupils, giving them the tools they require to thrive in later life.

The successful ASC Specialist Teaching Assistants will require:

• At least 3 months experience working as a Teaching Assistant
• A Level 3 teaching qualification.
• A degree (desirable).
• A proactive, resilient and flexible nature.
• An excellent work ethic and can do attitude.

Mandatory Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Possess an enhanced DBS which is on the update service.
• Provide 2 references.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
