Ortus Recruitment is excited to offer a full-time position for a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant at a primary school in Brentford. Starting in September, this role focuses on providing crucial 1:1 support to a Year 6 student with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide focused 1:1 support to a Year 6 student with SEN, helping them to navigate the curriculum and achieve their full potential
• Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons that are tailored to the student’s needs
• Facilitate small group interventions to enhance literacy, numeracy, and social skills
• Cultivate a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes the student’s academic and personal growth
• Track and report on the student’s progress, working closely with the SENCO to refine support strategies as needed
