The team at Ortus Recruitment are looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to prepare children for their future by supporting in their emotional, social and academic development. The schools we work with are Ofsted rated ‘Good‘ or ‘Outstanding‘, provide training and CPD courses to ensure career progression and offer consistent support and motivation. We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join the team in a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Brent. You will play a key role in helping them develop their personalities and minds by exposing them to ideas and experiences that will help them gain a solid grounding in the world.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for pupils
- Create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for students
- Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related qualification
- Experience working in classroom setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
