Ortus recruitment is currently recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a school which is based in Oakwood, Enfield Borough. This is a great opportunity to add to your experience working within a classroom environment, as the school are willing to invest in the right candidate; you will be working alongside a good Ofsted rated SLT and teacher.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the class teacher during the lessons
• Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records.
• Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour.
• Need to support a small to large groups of students
• Need to fill their emotional needs
• Needs to be resilient and energetic

Requirements:

• Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or apply for a new one)
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Teaching Assistant experience would be preferred or related roles
• GCSE qualification or above

• £80-95 per day PAYE (no umbrella corperation)
