Ortus Recruitment are recruiting a graduate Learning Support Assistant to work within KS2 in a fantastic, inclusive Primary School located in the London Borough of Barnet.

As well as supporting the class teacher in a general capacity, you will also be working on a 1:1 basis with a child who is presenting signs of ASD. You will be coached and supported by the inclusion team, giving you the opportunity to expand on your knowledge of SEN.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proactive and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
• Good communication to liaise effectively with the inclusion team and parents
• 3+ months experience working with SEN children
• A minimum 2:2 in a relevant degree e.g., psychology or education studies
• A passion for supporting children with additional needs
• A can-do attitude and willing to take on new challenges
