Ortus Recruitment is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant who can assist our client school’s year 6 Class with SATS prep. The school is located in the borough of Croydon. The team is ready to welcome an eager KS2 Teaching Assistant to their team and to help them gain more knowledge and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A TEACHING ASSISTANT:

• Techniques to help with their learning development
• Observe individual children to aid in enhancing their social skills and fostering self-esteem.
• Monitoring the progress of children and communicating this information to parents.
• Ensure the classroom remains clean and organized, following health and safety guidelines.
• Be proficient in helping students in literacy and numeracy.
• Able to run interventions independently

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a level 3 qualification or higher
• Degree educated (desirable)
• Must have 3-6 months experience
• Must be able to work full-time
• Enhanced DBS
