1-1 Learning Support Assistant – Hounslow LEA

Ortus Recruitment are working on behalf of a primary school located in the London Borough of Hounslow, that caters for children from 3-11 years old, it is a vibrant and welcoming school that focuses on improving the core skills of their student and is well known for having a welcoming, approachable and supportive staff.

The Primary School are looking for an experienced LSA to support a Year 3 student with SEMH. We require Support Staff who are outgoing individuals, able to build rapport with pupils who are familiar with or have experience in the following:

• Supporting pupils with Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
• Supporting challenging behaviours
• PRICE, MAPA or Team Teach trained desirable but not essential
• Background in Youth Work, Behavioural support in Education, Social Work Sports organisations.
• Graduates in Psychology, Education, English, Maths or Science

This is a long-term, full time opportunity for that reason we require a teaching assistant who is fully flexible to commit with their role. Experience working in a similar role is essential, as is confidence when it comes to working with autism.
