Ortus Recruitment are thrilled to announce our partnered mainstream primary school with an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report are seeking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant with 1:1 Special Education Needs (SEN) experience. The Role:

• To support the classroom teacher to give their student the best education in a happy, safe environment.
• To work on a 1:1 or group basis with pupils who have Special Educational Needs
• To have good communications skills to enable you to report back to the teachers and parents with regards to the pupils progress
• To support with break time duties
• Completion of daily records for pupils
• Classroom preparation for the following school day
• This is a Full-Time position Monday – Friday (08:30am-16:00pm)
• £75-£90 per day PAYE

Essential:

• Have experience of working with SEN children within an educational setting
• Current Enhanced DBS check or willing to undergo checks
• Be passionate about working with children that have SEN and be determined to make sure that their learning experience is as comfortable and positive as possible
• Be caring, kind and compassionate
• Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
