Role and Responsibilities:
- Individual and Group Support: Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Classroom Assistance: Work closely with teachers to assist in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Resource Preparation: Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources.
- Emotional and Social Support: Support the social and emotional development of pupils, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Behavior Management: Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting positive interactions.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and report on pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- School Activities: Participate in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities to support pupil engagement and development.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with SEND, is preferred.
- A genuine passion for supporting young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
