Ortus Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in Stockwell, within the London Borough of Lambeth. The school is currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide dedicated one-to-one support for a Year 4 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, running for the full academic year, with working hours from 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. The role is paid £89–£110 per day (PAYE), with a trial day required ahead of appointment.

The pupil you’ll be supporting is bright and full of potential, but can at times display challenging behaviour linked to emotional regulation and sensory needs. The school is looking for someone who can offer a calm, consistent, and supportive presence, with a flexible and compassionate approach. No two days will be the same, so this role would suit someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact. You’ll be joining a welcoming SEND team and will be seen as a valued and respected member of staff.
