Ortus Recruitment is working alongside an OFSTED ‘Good’ school which is located in Southgate, Enfield borough. The school is in search of a Teaching Assistant who has strong literacy skills to join their team and assist KS2 pupils with their SATS prep. The school is dynamic and innovative, as they embrace traditional teaching and the latest analytic technology to create a vibrant learning experience for our children.

Our Requirements:

• A-Level English
• Ideal candidate would be a graduate and/or post-graduate with strong English degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS will be required

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• one-to-one Activities
• Classroom assisting
• SATS prep
• Marking
• Student performance monitoring
• Mentoring
• Tutoring
• Exam invigilation

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• IT literacy (especially Microsoft Office Products: Publisher, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Keen attention to detail
• Team player
• organised
• Can attend to their emotional needs
• Excellent Literacy skills for SATS prep
