Ortus Recruitment is currently working closely with a mainstream Primary School based in West Dulwich, looking to appoint an experienced an experienced Primary School Teaching Assistant to work with a KS2 class for the next academic school year. Our partnered school is based in a great location with good transportation links, they have a great senior leadership team and wonderful staff who are very supportive. This position will be Full-time, Monday to Friday from 08:30am – 16:00pm (Term Time Only).

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to undergo a full Enhanced DBS check
