Ortus recruitment are excited to present a new opportunity working in our partner primary school as a Teaching Assistant in South Norwood.

The school has an Ofsted ‘Good’ for their last report, with great facilities and a strong leadership team who provide high quality standards of education.

The Successful candidate should have previous experience working in a school and with children, they should also be reliable, motivated and have the passion to work with children.

The role will consist of working alongside a teacher, helping them plan and organise lessons as well as getting involved in class activities.

You will be working in groups of children and on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils who may need additional help.

• A confident individual, able to communicate clearly with teachers and pupils
• Someone who comes across warm and welcoming
• Someone who is able to work full time – (5 days a week)
• Previous experience working in schools with children
• Great work ethic
