Ortus Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in the Hounslow area. We require someone with experience and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting primary aged children, someone planning to go on to train to be a teacher would be ideal!

We are recruiting on behalf of a Primary Schools in the Borough of Hounslow and are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for a imitate start.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Teaching Assistant
• Mainstream Primary school
• SEN Support
• Working across the Primary age range – EYFS, SEN, KS1 and KS2 (3-11 years old)
• September Start – Long – Term & Full Time
• £75 – £90 per day
• Located in the Borough of Hounslow

The successful candidate will be working supporting High preforming, Low preforming & SEN pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with a focus on raising attainment in core subjects. We’re seeking confident & proactive graduates who can hit the ground running, while working as part of a large team without constant guidance.

You will be required to work 1:1, across a class and with small groups both inside & outside the classroom. As such you must be flexible and academically capable.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Strong academic background – Degree from a reputable University & good level of Maths & English
• Proactive & confident
• You must be able to work effectively as part of a large team
• Commitment, reliability and willingness to get stuck is key
