They are currently seeking an exceptional SEMH Teaching Assistant to become a valuable part of their welcoming and supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) team. This opportunity is well-suited for either an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant or a graduate who is deeply passionate about working with students experiencing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
If you possess prior experience working with children who have SEMH needs or hold a relevant degree, this SEMH Teaching Assistant role may be the ideal fit for you!
What does it take to be a SEMH Teaching Assistant:
- Develop independence, devising strategies to identify and address obstacles to learning, and implementing positive
- Behaviour techniques, while also acknowledging and rewarding their successful application.
- You will offer support to students both inside and outside the classroom throughout the school day, providing academic, social, and emotional assistance.
- Must be able to help them with their work and use different Techniques
- Must be a patient individual
SEMH Teaching Assistant Role Requirements:
- Relevant Degree.
- SEMH experience.
- Clear communication.
