Ortus Recruitment is working with an outstanding primary school, seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil who has SEN. This welcoming four-form entry school is located in Hornsey, London borough of Haringey. The area has excellent transport links and great cafes.

You will receive support from a supportive Senior Leadership Team who are readily available to assist you. The school also offers opportunities for Continuous Professional Development and training as needed to help you advance in your career. Additionally, those who perform well may have the chance to participate in the school’s Teacher Training Programme.

TEACHING ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITES:

• Help the child with their classroom work
• Mainly assisting one child and run interventions
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Collaborate with the class teacher
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Must Have be able to assist pupils with literacy and Numeracy

REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate in Education: A degree in Education or a related field is required.

OR

Level 3 Qualification in Teaching and Education or equivalent
