This full-time position focuses on supporting a dedicated SEN group, working closely with pupils who have special educational needs and challenging behaviour. The Role:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Working hours: 08:30am – 4pm (Term Time Only)

Responsibilities:

• Supporting multiple children across KS1 and KS2 with diagnosed ASD and other SEN needs.
• Providing 1:1 support across the whole curriculum.
• Assessing student progress and collaborating with Teachers, Parents/Carers, and external agencies when necessary.
• Participating in CPD activities, for which you will receive accreditation.

Requirements:

• Desirable Experience: Previous experience as an LSA/SEN Teaching Assistant.
• Qualifications: Holding a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
• SEN Experience: Experience working with children with SEN in an educational, pastoral, or personal setting is highly desirable.
• DBS Check: Must have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Right to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK.
