We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Hendon that is seeking a committed and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team for a September 2025 start.

Location: Hendon, North West London

Start Date: September 2025

Role Type: Full-time, Term Time Only

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN TA to provide 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. You’ll be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, using your experience to help tailor interventions, manage behaviour, and deliver engaging learning support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of strategies for supporting pupils with SEND (e.g. PECs, Makaton, sensory integration)
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A compassionate, proactive, and resilient approach
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
