SEN Teaching Assistant | Croydon | Full time | ASAP Start

Ortus recruitment are currently looking for an individual to work in our partner primary school in Croydon as an SEN Teaching Assistant.

The school has an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ for their last report and a strong leadership team who aim to provide high quality standards of education.

The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background to keep up with the school curriculums and some previous experience working with children.

We are looking for individuals who come across warm and welcoming and can communicate effectively with teachers and pupils.

The role will consist of working alongside a teacher, helping to plan and organize lessons as well as getting involved in classroom activities and managing classroom behaviour.

You will be expected to work in groups and 1:1 with SEN pupils who need additional help with their learning and development.

• Excellent rates of pay £75 – £90 Per day PAYE (No umbrella company fees)

Requirements

• The right to work in the UK
• Able to work Full time
• Provide 2 references
• Have an Enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process a new one.
