SEN Teaching Assistant.

Location: Sutton.

Salary: £80-£95 per day (PAYE).

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm

Are you an aspiring teacher who is looking to develop their skills in a unique environment? Ortus recruitment are looking for a passionate and hard-working Teaching Assistant to work inside a Special Education Needs (SEN) school. This school is highly reputable school within the local area, the staff are experienced professionals within this field and are ready to help train a new member of staff to bring into their already amazing team.

You’ll be working with high quality resources inside this school, you’ll be tasked with both helping and creating interesting and creative activities for the children to participate in. The children you’ll be working with have Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) meaning the children will have Global Delay, Down’s Syndrome, Autism (ASC/ADC), ADHD and many more. Whilst in this role you’ll be working with children both 1:1 and in group activities, you’ll need to make sure that you’re able to interact the children.

Skills will you need…

· Strong understanding of children with Special Education Needs (SEN).

· Able to adapt to children who are non-verbal.

· Creative and hard-working nature.

· Have an ability to be comfortable inside a new environment.

· Either worked with or around children who require additional learning support.

· Be able to create a bond with the parents to monitor the children’s progress.
