A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stoke Newington (Hackney) is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs, particularly Autism (ASD). This is a great opportunity to make a real difference while developing your experience in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN (ASD focus)
• Support learning and classroom engagement
• Work with the teacher on individual education plans (IEPs)
• Encourage positive behaviour and social development
• Monitor progress and provide feedback

Requirements

• 3–6 months SEN experience
• ASD support experience essential
• Level 3 qualification or degree preferred
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Passion for supporting children
