Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school in Hampton Hill and they are recruiting a enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time – long term role. The ideal candidate will need more than a years’ experience working with children in a professional setting, specifically SEN. This role is challenging therefore the candidate applying for this will need to be resilient and be able to respond well to challenging behaviour.

Within this role you will be working with children 1:1 or within small groups supporting them with their numeracy, literacy and reading skills. You will also be responsible for following health and safety guidelines to ensure the children are safe at all times, including at break and lunch times. You will also be responsible for liaising with parents and teachers, giving feedback on the progress the students are making.
