· Have experience working with children with SEND (Autism, ADHD, Global Delay, MLD/SLD) on a 1:1 basis or in class.

· Have training or experience Makaton, PECS or be team teach trained (desirable).

· Be able to communicate effectively within a team.

· Be committed to work full-time.

· Clear written and spoken communicator.

Ortus Recruitment are currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to start in September in a school situated in the Merton area. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis/small groups in the classroom and around the school and support the class teacher by helping plan and execute exciting lessons.

You Must:

· Hold right to work in the UK.

· Hold a fully enhanced DBS on the update service – if you do not possess a current DBS you will have to apply (we can help guide you through the process if necessary).

· Provide recent and relevant references.

· Be available full-time.
