Ortus Recruitment are happy to be working with a mainstream primary school in Richmond, who are on the hunt for a proactive and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate will need to have more than a years’ experience working with SEN children in a school setting, specifically a primary school.

What will your responsibilities include:

• Liaise with the SENCO and class teacher where required
• Reporting any issues, in line with school policy and procedure
• Communicating effectively with children, staff, parents and carers where necessary
• Looking after students emotional, physical and social well being
• Keep record of the progress the students make
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the student’s needs
