We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant at an outstanding Primary school in West Drayton, London Borough of Hillingdon. Besides helping children with special needs, you will also be required to improved the attainment levels of the class as whole. This is done through targeted interventions in both English and Maths.
About the role:
- SEN Teaching Assistant
- Full time and long term
- Potential to turn in to a permanent contract for the right person.
- Pay £85 – £90 per day
- Supporting pupils with Autism and Complex Needs.
- You will be required to support small groups 8 as well as offer one-to-one intervention when necessary
- You may need to work in conjunction with outside professionals such as physiotherapists, speech & language therapists, educational psychologists and others in implementing tailored plans for each pupil
- You must have previous experience supporting young people with Autism / ASC
- You will need to be resilient, patient and adaptable to a dynamic and changing environment
- They expect all staff to contribute and promote a fun, caring, relaxed and safe environment for staff and pupils
- Ideally you will have 3-6 months prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant and hold a Level 3 Teaching qualification.
