SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT | TOLWORTH | FULL-TIME | IMMEDIATE START

Ortus Recruitment are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the Tolworth area.

The SEN Teaching Assistant position us perfect for someone who has experience working with vulnerable children and is now looking to develop their skills and knowledge, whilst working in a positive environment with an engaging, supportive team.

– SEN Teaching Assistant | full-time, long-term

– Starting immediately

– £70-£85 per day – PAYE

– Must have experience of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities

– Must hold a level 2 or level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

SEN Teaching Assistant:

– The SEN Teaching Assistant must be able to work 1:1 with pupils in small class setting, to provide behaviourally based instructions for pupils to meet their full potential

– Contributing to the production, organisation, and maintenance of individualised teaching materials

– Support pupils with their social and emotional development through interaction and engagement

– Supervising indoor/outdoor playtime for all pupils

– Encourage and assist pupils to maintain acceptable levels of personal and environmental hygiene

– Assist in extra-curricular and off-site activities with pupils during school hours

This inclusive Primary school, based in Tolworth, is only a short walk away from the nearest station. The school attracts a lot of SEN students thanks to a caring, well-lead SEN team who are practiced at developing an environment where all students can achieve well. The school has achieved an ‘outstanding’ rating from Ofsted and has some great connections with the community.

You Must:

– Hold right to work in the UK

– Hold a fully enhanced DBS on the update eservice – if you do not possess a current DBS you will have to apply (we can help guide you through the process if needed)

– Provide recent and relevant references

– Available to work full-time
