Ortus recruitment are currently hiring for someone to work as a Teaching Assistant in a local school. The individual needs to be hardworking, good with children and have relevant previous work experience.

The school is graded “outstanding” by Ofsted and offers various facilities and extra-curricular activities that both staff and students can get involved in. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of staff who are all enthusiastic about developing the students who attend their school.

You will be working as a Teaching Assistant in a Year 3 class. The role has a lot of responsibilities such as providing and carrying out lessons with the class teacher, assisting students in the class throughout the year, tracking the children’s progress and highlighting any cause for concern and being a close part of the school community.

In order to apply for this role you will need to have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service, provide two references and be available for full time work. The role operates throughout midweek from 8:30am-4pm.
