Special Needs TA – FT – Greenwich

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Pay: £85.00 – £100.00 per day

About the Role: We are excited to offer a full-time Special Needs Teaching Assistant position at a highly-rated OFSTED school in Honor Oak Park. This role involves providing 1:1 support to a child with autism in a Year 3 class. You will work within a nurturing and supportive environment where both students and staff are encouraged to grow and succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Support children with various special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioral difficulties.
- Assist the class teacher and provide support to the whole class when needed.
- Care for and supervise children during break times.
- Manage challenging behavior with a positive and proactive approach.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians.
- Monitor and record the progress of the child you are supporting, ensuring they are on track with their development goals.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
