If you have experience or a background in speech and language therapy, communication disorders, or special education, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to students with speech and language difficulties, both in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure effective communication strategies.
• Use a range of resources and activities to develop students’ communication skills, including articulation, vocabulary, grammar, and social interaction.
• Monitor progress and provide ongoing assessment to inform intervention strategies and support student development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the self-esteem and confidence of all students.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience or qualifications in speech and language therapy, communication disorders, special education, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of speech and language development and familiarity with various communication disorders.
• Ability to implement individualized strategies and interventions to support students’ speech and language needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children overcome communication challenges.
