Primary School Teaching Assistant | Speech and Language

The school are recruiting a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant support a child who has speech, language and communication needs in Reception.

They are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching assistant who holds a minimum Level 3 qualification to join their team.

The successful candidate will:

Have experience and knowledge of Early Years and/or KS1 curriculum and be confident delivering speech, language and communication interventions

Be proactive, flexible and assertive

Be confident and comfortable supporting on a one-to-one basis or in small groups of children with additional needs

Must be available full-time and long-term

Have a Level 3 qualification or minimum 2:2 grade in relevant degree e.g. psychology or educational studies

Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
