Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to our primary school students. This role is pivotal in helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
• Support individual students and small groups with their learning activities.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Prepare classroom materials and resources.
• Provide feedback to students and assist with assessments.
• Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and school activities.
• Work with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Participate in school events and activities as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
• A passion for education and working with young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of child development and educational practices.
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are desirable but not essential.
