Ortus Recruitment is working in partnership with a highly regarded and welcoming Primary School located in the London Borough of Lambeth. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic recent graduate to join the school as a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis, with an immediate start.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting classroom learning across various year groups, including Reception (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2). Your responsibilities will include general classroom support, working one-to-one with pupils with special educational needs (SEN), and leading small group interventions to reinforce subject knowledge.

Key Requirements:

• A recent graduate with a 2:1 degree or above (essential)
• Previous experience working with primary-aged children (school, tutoring, mentoring, etc.)
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• Proactive, dependable, and adaptable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Position: Teaching Assistant (General & SEN Support)
• Location: Oval, London Borough of Lambeth
• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (minimum one academic year)
• Pay: £89 – £105 per day (PAYE, depending on experience)
