Ortus Recruitment are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work in our partnered primary school in the Putney area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, and experience working with SEN and providing 1:1 support.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• Experience working as a TA in a primary school setting
• Experience working with SEN and providing 1:1 support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working hours: 08:30 – 16:00 (Monday – Friday )

Key responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 support to children with SEN
• Working with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Assisting with the management of the classroom
• Supporting the overall development and progress of the children in their care
