An ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in Tulse Hill is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them to thrive academically, socially and emotionally within a nurturing mainstream setting.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils with a range of learning needs, including those with SEN and SEMH. You’ll play a key role in creating an engaging learning environment, delivering targeted interventions and helping pupils reach their full potential.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or above)
• GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Previous experience supporting children within a primary school setting, ideally across KS1 and KS2
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN and/or SEMH is desirable
• Strong behaviour management and classroom support skills
• A proactive, confident and enthusiastic approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A willingness to contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities where appropriate
